STEP 2) Running XAMPP on your system

STEP 3) Downloading WordPress
The next step in creating a website using XAMPP will be downloading WordPress.
First of all, you have to download WordPress into your system. The downloading process is quite simple just like any other downloading. Firstly you have to go to the official website of WordPress and clicked on the download button.
STEP 4) Extracting WordPress Zip files into XAMPP
After you have done downloading the WordPress on your computer the next step is to copy extracted zip files into XAMPP. For that purpose extract the zip files and simply lookup for the htdocs in XAMPP folder, click on the htdocs and extract your WordPress files in there.
STEP 5) Creating Database on WordPress
The next step is to set up your new website using WordPress and XAMPP. You have to go to the search bar and type “localhost” and press enter, the new XAMPP page should appear by pressing enter. From there you have to look up for the PHP Myadmin and click on it. A new page will appear and you have to click on “database”, you can see the empty boxes on clicking on the database, you have to fill them up in order to develop a new database. Write the name of the website in the first box and click on the create, your database will be created.
STEP 6) Renaming Files In XAMPP
The next step is to rename, the WordPress files you have copied should be renamed according to a website you are making. It will be easier for you to identify your website that way. To rename the folder, you have to go back to XAMPP folder and click on the htdocs and there click on the WordPress folder that you have extracted in htdocs. Once your WordPress folder is opened, next lookup for the wp-config-sample.php that should be present in your WordPress folder.

Open this up with notepad, you will see the database names, so you have to change these names according to your website. Change your database name and write the same name that you have written on your WordPress database. Next, change the username with “root” and after that change your password and leave the password space empty. After the renaming is done just click on the save button and you are done with this step.
STEP 7) Setting up Database
In the next step, you have to go back to the above search bar and type localhost/databasename/ and press enter the new page will appear and here you will configure your new website. On this page, you will have to set up the database name so type the database name, a username that will be “root” and the password will be left empty. After these steps, just press submit.
STEP 8) Filling the Form on WordPress and get started
This is the last step, so once you have clicked on the submit a new web page will be opened. On this page, you have to set up the site title, username, and the password. So carefully fill these spaces and write accurate username and a strong password.
After filling up your form click below on the instant WordPress, a new page will appear where you are required to login into your WordPress by giving the username and the password you recently set up. Once you are logged in you will see that your website has been successfully developed. You can make changes to the website and add plugins and themes.
