Job Description & Responsibilities — SQA Engineer

Vizz Web Solution is hiring an experienced SQA Engineer to own software QA and strengthen quality assurance across our web and mobile products. You will design comprehensive test plans, write and maintain test cases and test scripts, and execute both manual testing and automation testing using Selenium WebDriver and modern test frameworks. The role covers API testing with Postman, regression, integration, functional, performance and unit testing, plus UAT and both black-box and white-box testing. You’ll manage bug tracking in JIRA/TestRail, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, analyze QA metrics, and produce clear test reporting to continuously improve QA processes and QA automation.

 Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for features and releases.
• Execute manual testing (functional, exploratory, UAT, black-box and white-box) and validate fixes.
• Build, run and maintain automation testing suites using Selenium WebDriver and test frameworks (pytest / TestNG or similar).
• Perform API testing with Postman and automate API checks where applicable.
• Run regression testing, integration testing, unit testing, and performance testing as required.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and run automated suites on each build.
• Log, triage and track defects using JIRA and manage test cases & results in TestRail (or equivalent).
• Monitor QA metrics, prepare test reporting, and present quality status and trends to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and designers to improve QA processes, reliability and test coverage.
• Support CRO and production verification, perform root cause analysis after releases, and validate hotfixes.
• Keep test documentation up to date, recommend improvements to the test automation framework and tooling.
• Stay current with testing best practices, tools and frameworks to drive continuous testing and higher quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent, plus 2+ years of hands-on experience as an SQA Engineer / Software QA in an IT or software environment.
• Proven experience with test automation using Selenium WebDriver or Playwright and test frameworks (pytest, TestNG or similar); ability to design, implement and maintain automated test suites.
• Strong API testing skills with Postman and automated API testing libraries (REST-assured / ethers.js/axios patterns); able to write integration and end-to-end tests.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) to integrate automated tests into build pipelines and generate test reports.
• Familiarity with test management and bug-tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail or equivalent) and proven ability to produce clear bug reports, test plans and QA metrics.
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies — functional, regression, integration, performance basics and UAT — plus experience writing test cases and executing manual testing when needed.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, excellent written/verbal communication, and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with cross-functional collaboration.
