Devops Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform; manage modules, state and provisioning.
• Manage configuration and automation with Ansible (or Chef/Puppet) and maintain idempotent playbooks.
• Containerize applications with Docker, manage container registries (ECR/Docker Hub), and run Kubernetes (k8s) clusters.
• Deploy and maintain Helm charts, kubectl operations, and container orchestration for microservices.
• Provision and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS / Azure / GCP (autoscaling, load balancers, VPC, IAM).
• Build monitoring, logging and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Elastic Stack) and set up alerting/SLIs.
• Integrate security best practices: secrets management (Vault), IAM, vulnerability scanning, and secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive release management, canary/blue-green deployments, rollback strategies and GitOps workflows.
• Automate testing in pipelines (integration, smoke, regression), artifact management, and image lifecycle control.
• Monitor performance, cost and scalability; perform capacity planning, incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with dev, QA and product teams on SRE principles, documentation, runbooks and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years experience as a DevOps/SRE/Cloud Engineer with proven production deployments and operational ownership.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience with pipeline-as-code (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD) and automated build/test/deploy workflows.
• Containerization & orchestration: practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes (k8s) and Helm for deploying and managing microservices.
• Infrastructure as Code: strong Terraform skills and experience with configuration management (Ansible/Chef/Puppet) for repeatable provisioning.
• Cloud proficiency: working experience on AWS, Azure or GCP (VPC, IAM, autoscaling, load balancers) and familiarity with cloud-native services.
• Automation & observability: scripting in Bash/Python/Go, Git-based workflows, plus monitoring/logging with Prometheus, Grafana and ELK (or equivalents).
• Operational discipline: solid troubleshooting/incident response, secrets management and security hygiene, plus effective collaboration with dev, QA and product teams.
