Job Description — Unity Game Developer

Vizz Web Solution is hiring a Unity Game Developer (Metaverse) to design and deliver immersive, real-time 3D and XR experiences using Unity/Unity3D and C#. You’ll lead gameplay programming, physics, UI/UX and shader work (Shader Graph) while managing 3D assets (FBX/Blender), Addressables and asset bundles to ensure fast load times and scalable scenes. This role requires strong multiplayer and networking experience (Photon, Mirror, Netcode for GameObjects), backend/cloud integration (PlayFab, REST APIs) and cross-platform delivery (WebGL, Android, iOS, Meta Quest/Oculus, SteamVR). You will own performance profiling and optimization (CPU/GPU), implement XR Interaction Toolkit flows, maintain CI/CD & Git-based build pipelines, support QA/testing cycles, and collaborate across design, art and backend teams to ship Metaverse features.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement gameplay systems, core mechanics and scripting in C# using Unity / Unity3D.
  • Build and maintain reusable content pipelines: Addressables, asset bundles, scene streaming and memory management.
  • Create and optimize shaders and rendering using Shader Graph, URP/HDRP, and rendering best practices.
  • Integrate and optimize 3D assets (FBX) from Blender and work with animators on rigs and animations.
  • Implement multiplayer systems and networking with Photon, Mirror or Netcode for GameObjects; handle synchronization, prediction and lag compensation.
  • Integrate backend services and cloud features (PlayFab, REST APIs, authentication, leaderboards, cloud save).
  • Deliver cross-platform builds (WebGL, Android, iOS, Meta Quest/Oculus, SteamVR) and manage the build pipeline, CI/CD and automated build verification.
  • Implement XR interactions with XR Interaction Toolkit, support AR/VR input, locomotion and UX patterns.
  • Maintain version control workflows using Git (branching, PRs, code reviews) and document technical designs and runbooks.
  • Monitor telemetry/analytics, collect player metrics and iterate features for retention and engagement.
  • Ensure security, privacy and stable deployment practices for Metaverse services and integrations.

 Requirements

  • 3+ years hands-on experience with Unity/Unity3D and C#, with a portfolio of shipped real-time 3D or Metaverse/XR projects.
  • Proven multiplayer networking experience (Photon, Mirror or Netcode for GameObjects) including sync, prediction, and matchmaking.
  • Solid XR/AR/VR development skills (XR Interaction Toolkit/OpenXR) and proven cross-platform deployment (Meta Quest/Oculus, WebGL, Android/iOS, SteamVR).
  • Performance profiling & optimization expertise using Unity Profiler, Addressables/asset bundles, and techniques to reduce CPU/GPU load and memory usage.
  • Experience with shader work and rendering pipelines (Shader Graph, URP/HDRP) and 3D asset pipelines (FBX, Blender) for efficient visuals.
  • Familiarity integrating backend services and tooling (PlayFab or REST APIs), telemetry/analytics, and CI/CD/build systems (Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Strong version-control, debugging and cross-team communication skills (Git workflows, code reviews, QA collaboration) and ability to deliver on product timelines at Vizz Web Solution.
