Vizz Web Solution is looking for a passionate WordPress Developer to join our growing IT team. The role involves building and maintaining WordPress websites, customizing themes, managing plugins, and ensuring responsive, SEO-friendly designs. You will handle front-end and back-end development, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with designers to deliver user-friendly and high-performing web solutions. Responsibilities

• Install and configure WordPress websites from scratch.
• Customize and modify existing WordPress themes to meet project requirements.
• Install, update, and manage plugins for added functionality.
• Ensure responsive web design across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
• Optimize websites for SEO, performance, and faster load times.
• Troubleshoot and fix common WordPress errors, bugs, and compatibility issues.
• Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to enhance website functionality.
• Manage CMS content updates, including text, images, and multimedia.
• Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and eCommerce solutions like WooCommerce.
• Ensure website security with backups, SSL, and updates.
• Provide ongoing website maintenance and technical support.
• Work on staging environments and perform site migrations.
• Stay updated with latest WordPress updates, plugins, and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years professional experience as a WordPress Developer building, customizing and maintaining production WordPress sites; portfolio or links to live sites required.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, WordPress hooks/filters, template hierarchy, plus HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS) and modern JavaScript (ES6+) for responsive UI.
• Hands-on experience creating/customizing themes and plugins, child themes, and integrating with the WP REST API.
• Practical experience with WooCommerce or e-commerce setups, performance optimization (caching, image optimization, lazy loading) and on-page SEO fundamentals.
• Knowledge of WordPress security best practices, backups, SSL, plugin compatibility and troubleshooting across hosting/PHP environments.
• Familiarity with Git workflows, staging→production deployments, CMS editing (Gutenberg) and page builders (Elementor/Beaver/WPBakery).
• Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with designers, QA and backend engineers at Vizz Web Solution.
