Job Description – SEO Intern
Vizz Web Solution is hiring an SEO Intern to join our digital team and support real client projects. You’ll gain hands-on experience in search engine optimization, performing keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO, and technical SEO tasks. The role includes helping run SEO audits, link building outreach and meta/title tag updates.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct keyword research, keyword analysis and competitive research using tools like Ahrefs / SEMrush.
- Perform on-page optimization: optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and content for target keywords.
- Assist with off-page SEO and outreach for link building and acquiring quality backlinks.
- Run SEO audits and prepare prioritized action lists for developers and content teams.
- Optimize content (content SEO) and create keyword-guided content briefs for writers.
- Monitor organic rankings, traffic, CTR and conversion metrics using GA4 and Google Search Console.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and content teams to deploy SEO fixes and UX improvements.
- Stay current on SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and industry tools; recommend improvements to strategy.
Requirements:
- Enrolled in or recently graduated in Marketing, Business, IT, or related field
- Basic understanding of SEO (keywords, on-page, technical)
- Familiarity with Google Analytics & Google Search Console
- Experience using SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS & CMS platforms (WordPress preferred)
- Strong written English & content optimization skills
- Proficiency in Google Sheets / MS Excel (basic formulas & data handling)
- Availability for at least 3 months internship (20 hrs/week minimum)
- Must provide a short SEO-related work sample with application
- Professional, eager to learn, and team-oriented
