Job Description — Business Development Officer
Vizz Web Solution is hiring a proactive Business Development Officer to drive B2B growth and expand our client base in IT services. You will own prospecting, lead generation, outreach and qualification to build a healthy sales pipeline, while managing CRM entries, preparing proposals and running client meetings. This role includes negotiating deals, supporting onboarding and account management, and working with marketing and product teams to turn leads into long-term clients. You’ll monitor KPIs, prepare sales reports and help improve processes to increase revenue and client retention.
Responsibilities
- Conduct prospecting and outbound lead generation via email, LinkedIn, calls and events.
- Qualify leads, perform discovery calls, and maintain accurate CRM records (pipeline updates).
- Prepare professional proposals, quotations and sales presentations tailored to client needs.
- Conduct product/service demos and support client meetings to explain offerings.
- Manage accounts after onboarding: track performance, follow up, and maintain relationships.
- Coordinate with marketing on campaigns, lead nurturing and content/offer alignment.
- Run market research and competitor analysis to identify target segments and opportunities.
- Support RFP responses, tender submissions and partner outreach when needed.
- Track KPIs (leads, conversion rate, deal size, churn) and prepare weekly/monthly sales reports.
- Manage simple contract documentation and hand off to legal/finance for approvals.
- Implement client onboarding checklists and assist with initial account setup and training.
- Mentor junior BD or sales associates and help improve outreach templates and playbooks.
- Contribute to process improvements (CRM workflows, lead scoring, follow-up cadences) to boost efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field and 3+ years proven experience in B2B sales/business development — IT services experience preferred for Vizz Web Solution.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with measurable results (quota attainment, pipeline value, closed deals).
- Proficient with CRM and pipeline management (HubSpot, Salesforce or similar) and disciplined about accurate data entry and sales forecasting.
- Hands-on experience with outbound prospecting (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, cold calling, email sequences) and end-to-end lead qualification.
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills with experience preparing RFPs, proposals and delivering client demos.
- Solid analytical ability using MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX) to produce KPI reports, monthly forecasts and pipeline analysis.
- Self-driven, target-oriented team player comfortable with client meetings, occasional travel, and working in a fast-paced IT services environment.
